Close Call

The other day I was in a local store, when I heard a strange rustling sound behind me.
I heard giggles and a sound like plastic scurrying on linoleum.
Then I heard, “Let’s get him!”
I turned around and this is what I saw…

Good thing I turned around in time (as dolls usually freeze when you look at them).  Had I not, those nasty little dolls would have been all over me – -biting at my heals and neck.
Gag.
Nasty little things.

Life Lesson #83

One cold and freezing day, I ventured to work trying to power through some sort of stomach mess that was wreaking its destruction in the southern end of a northbound Kevin.  I made it to my meeting on time, but found myself pacing the room in a cold sweat.  It was obvious to my co-workers that I was dealing with some issue of the “get the heck out of my way if I am running to the bathroom” variety.
Our meeting started, but I was mentally checked out.  I was trying to maintain control of my nethersystem.  I was losing.  Badly.  Quickly — for I could stand it no longer.  The moment was upon me and I had to act or everyone would pay dearly.  I ran to the bathroom which for the most privacy, was located in an outside building.  Snow was falling gently as I burst through the door of the restroom.  It was extremely chilly in there, but there was no time to care.  The moment was upon me like a tidal wave of…like a tidal wave.  I kicked in the door of the last stall and said a prayer to the god of nice bathrooms.  I had made it.  Moments later and much too late, horror of horrors, I made a terrible discovery.

Life Lesson #83
Make sure that if you are stricken with a violent stomach bug, you are always aware of which bathrooms have frozen pipes and thus have toilets that are unable to be flushed.

Wallace said that he saw this doll at an auction.  You know why he is at an auction?  Because he has taken out another entire family and is in need of a new family to destroy.  I wonder how much was paid for him at the auction, but more importantly, where is the family today that made the purchase?

Look at his nasty little smile and his nasty little killing-worn fingers.  A 7 on my Nasty Little Challenge scale.

Crap

This nasty little doll photo was submitted by my almost sister, Jane McDonald.

Jane sent this bit of horror to me via her cell phone.  When I got her text, I was like, “Cool.  Jane has sent me a text.  I wonder what it could be?”  But when I opened it, I was like, “Ahhhgh!”  Then I was like, “Dangit Jane!”  After that, I was like, “That was horrible, but thanks for your submission to my blog.”  Then I was like… kind of sleepy.
According to Jane’s own testimony, this nasty doll was life-size.  I know that it is not the clearest photo, but that may be for the best.  If it were any clearer, by law I would have to put a parental warning on my blog and that costs extra.  I gave this one an 8 on the Nasty Little Challenge Rating because of its sheer size and potential to wrap its nasty hands around my throat, even in jest.
